About Me

I’m a journalist and audio producer based in Colorado, reporting on mental health, education, and social systems. I’m especially drawn to stories that reveal gaps in care, center community voices, and explore how people navigate and challenge the institutions meant to support them.

My Approach

My reporting starts with listening. Whether I’m interviewing a teen peer counselor, covering a community mental health initiative, or digging into access barriers in schools and clinics, I look for the human impact behind policies and systems. I aim to tell stories that are deeply personal, grounded in research, and accessible to a wide audience.

Background and Experience

I hold Master’s degrees in journalism and psychology from Columbia University and The New School.

Before moving to Colorado, I reported on mental health disparities in New York City through investigative fieldwork and expert interviews.

I also worked directly with nonprofit organizations, developing and delivering mental health programs, conducting assessments, and connecting at-risk youth and seniors to mental health resources.

I’m based in Denver, Colorado and open to freelance projects in reporting and audio storytelling, as well as opportunities within newsroom teams.
